The company includes Able Innovations Inc., BeWhere Inc., BlueDot Inc., Cognota Inc., Earth Boring Co., Mero Technologies Inc., Pentavere Research Group Inc. and Schlesinger Group Ltd.
The funding is intended to help these companies develop digital and manufacturing solutions, move to greener operations, improve health data, and improve monitoring and tracking software. The funding also aims to create an additional 230 jobs across the GTA. Today’s announcement was made in Toronto at an event hosted by two of the grant recipients, Cognota Inc. and Mero Technologies Inc.
Founded in 2015, Cognota is a Toronto-based software company that provides AI-enabled learning applications. The company’s LearnOps platform helps customers manage and process operational data in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Cognota Co., Ltd. We have raised over $1.9 million through the Jobs and Growth Fund to grow our educational software while securing new sales and partnership opportunities in the Canadian and US markets. Cognota said the project will create 16 jobs for him.
Cognota Founder and CEO Ryan Austin said: “This funding will allow us to give back and do our part to help the economy grow while creating new jobs.This funding will allow Cognota to accelerate its business plans. We are well positioned to expand our strategy.”
Melo Technologies Co., Ltd. was established in 2018. (Mero) is a Toronto-based sensing and analytics company that provides intelligent commercial building cleaning solutions that help measure building occupancy and cleanliness. Mero raises his $1.5 million to further commercialize an intelligent cleaning platform. The project will create 30 skilled jobs with further expansion planned for the Canadian and US markets.
